“CARING FOR YOUR STRANDS”

About Your Waist Beads

  • Type: Traditional Tie-On
  • Style: Traditional Ghanaian waist beads made with love and intention
  • Purpose: Worn for beauty, femininity, spiritual connection, weight awareness, and self-love
  • Reminder: These are not removable — they’re meant to be worn continuously until they naturally loosen or are intentionally cut.

How to Tie Them On

  1. Wrap the strand around your waist at your desired position.
  2. Slide off any excess beads — do not cut the string.
  3. Tie 3–4 secure knots.
  4. Cut off the remaining loose string and excess beads.
  5. Burn the end or apply a drop of super glue to seal your knot for added security.

Care Instructions

  • Be gentle — no tugging or pulling.
  • Pat dry after showers, swimming, or workouts.
  • Wear with mindfulness and intention.

Avoid

  • Overexposure to oils, perfumes, and lotions — they can dull the shine and weaken the string over time.Treat them gently — just like you’re treating yourself on this becoming journey.
